About Me
Nicki Bystrzonowski graduated from the University of London in 2006. She is on the GMC register for plastic surgery and currently works as an NHS Consultant Plastic Surgeon at The Royal London Hospital specialising in complex microsurgical reconstruction.
Nicki is committed to providing high quality, evidence based, individualised treatment to all her patients, ensuring all options are discussed allowing joint decisions to be made.
In addition, she is actively involved in teaching and training, both in hospital, The Royal College of Surgeons and the Royal Society of Medicine. She undertook two additional degrees, a BSc in Psychology, which has been invaluable in understanding her patient’s needs. Nicki also achieved a Master degree (MSc) from Imperial College looking at using technology to aid surgical planning. She has published over 20 papers around Plastic Surgery and continues to stay up-to-date by attending and presenting at National and International conferences.
