Laser Treatment Prices in London
Most pages about laser pricing give you a range for “the London average”. Those ranges are rarely traceable to anything, and they are usually wrong in the direction that gets you through the door. This page gives our own list instead.
- Consultation: £100 — and it comes off the treatment price if you go ahead.
- Everything is quoted in writing before treatment. Nothing is charged that is not on this page.
- Two laser platforms are used here: the DEKA SmartXide CO₂ (which also delivers CoolPeel®) and the Lutronic DermaV Nd:YAG.
- Treatment is carried out by consultant plastic surgeons, at Harley Street only. Laser resurfacing is not offered at the St Albans or Guildford sites.
- Review appointments after treatment are not charged.
CO₂ Laser Skin Resurfacing
Full-field ablative resurfacing on the DEKA SmartXide. This is the deepest option and the one with the longest recovery.

CO₂ Resurfacing for Acne Scarring
Acne scarring is priced separately because the approach is staged and multimodal rather than a single pass. Scar types differ within the same face, and no one protocol suits every scar or every skin tone.

CoolPeel®
CoolPeel® runs on the same DEKA SmartXide platform but delivers energy in a way that removes the damaged surface layer while leaving far less heat behind. Typical downtime is around 48 hours rather than the one to two weeks of full-field resurfacing.

CoolPeel® is not a cheaper version of full-field CO₂. It is a lighter treatment that does less per session with far less downtime. If the concern is deep wrinkling or significant scarring, the honest answer is that CoolPeel® will underdeliver and full-field resurfacing is the appropriate treatment.
DermaV Laser — Redness, Vessels and Pigmentation
A different laser for a different problem. The Lutronic DermaV is an Nd:YAG working at 532 nm and 1064 nm, used for facial redness, broken capillaries, rosacea and pigmentation rather than for texture or wrinkling.

Scar work is quoted individually because scars differ enormously in size, age and behaviour. The figure above is a starting point, not an estimate of what yours will cost — that is given in writing at the consultation.
What This Page Deliberately Does Not Do
It does not tell you what laser treatment “typically costs in London”. We have no reliable way of knowing that, and neither do the pages that publish those figures. Clinics differ in equipment, in who operates it, and in how many sessions they recommend, and a per-session price means very little without knowing how many sessions are involved.
It also does not quote prices for equipment we do not have. If you have read about a specific platform elsewhere and want to know whether it is used here, ask at the consultation and you will get a straight answer.
One thing worth knowing before you compare: a lower per-session price is not automatically cheaper. Full-field CO₂ resurfacing is usually a single treatment; lighter platforms commonly need four to six. The number that matters is the total, and the result at the end of it.

Is the consultation free?
No, it is £100 — but it is deducted from the treatment price if you decide to proceed. It is where the skin is assessed, the options explained, and you are given a written quote.
How much is full-face CO₂ laser resurfacing?
£4,250, plus the £100 consultation. Neck can be added for £1,150 and décolletage for £1,350, or all three together as a package at £6,250.
Why is CoolPeel® so much less than CO₂ resurfacing?
Because it is a lighter treatment, not a discounted one. CoolPeel® removes the damaged surface with minimal heat and around 48 hours of downtime. Full-field resurfacing goes deeper, achieves more in one session, and needs a longer recovery.
Are there costs beyond the treatment itself?
Two optional aftercare products are available: a bio-regenerative growth factor serum at £170 and a post-procedure recovery cream at £70. Neither is compulsory. Review appointments after treatment are not charged.
Is acne scarring priced differently from general resurfacing?
Yes. Acne scarring is £1,750 for the half face and £2,950 for the full face, because the approach is staged and matched to the scar types present rather than applied uniformly.
Are there costs that are not on this page?
No. Everything is quoted before treatment and nothing is charged that is not listed here.
